School Director
Lesley Henry
Lesley Henry is a seasoned vocal coach with over 20 years of experience, including roles as a performer and artistic director. A trained Soprano and Teaching Fellow of the London College of Music, Lesley has earned recognition for her high standards in vocal pedagogy. She runs her own Performing Arts School, 'Voiceworks,' in Ballymena, where she nurtures young talent, producing professional showcases and achieving top results in theatre arts across Northern Ireland.

Claire McKane
Claire is a primary school teacher with a Master's in Education from Stranmillis University College and a passion for working with children. As Business Manager for Voiceworks Ballymena, she ensures smooth communication and a welcoming environment for families. Claire also serves as the backstage manager for summer musicals and holds a Grade 8 Distinction in Musical Theatre. She views the Voiceworks team as a family, dedicated to fostering confidence and growth in students.

Jordan McKane
A key member of the Voiceworks family, Jordan has been involved in teaching, co-producing, and directing summer musicals over the past years. A graduate of Stranmillis University College, he found his passion for scriptwriting and stagecraft while directing 'Cinderella'. Since then, Jordan has directed various productions like 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'West Side Story'. A skilled musician, he’s trained in classical piano, clarinet, and saxophone, with achievements including reaching the finals of the UK's Young Musician of the Year.

Charlie McCready
Charlie has been a part of the Voiceworks family since 2016, performing in various productions. A Drama graduate from Queen's University Belfast, Charlie has worked with companies like Ulster Operatic and St. Agnes Choral Society, with recent credits including 'West Side Story', 'Footloose', and 'Young Frankenstein'. Beyond performing, Charlie is also experienced in production and recently directed Queen's Musical Theatre Society’s production of 'All Shook Up'.

Jordan Rosborough
Jordan joined Voiceworks in 2022 and is back again after a successful 2023 with 'Madagascar Jr.' and 'Grease', and eagerly anticipating 'Beauty and the Beast Jr.'. A performer from age 4, Jordan earned a London College of Music Musical Theatre Diploma with Distinction and has choreographed for various musical societies. Notable roles include Morticia in 'The Addams Family', and she was nominated for ‘Best Comedienne’ at the 2023 AIMS Awards.
Assistant Dance Tutor
Amy Galashan
Amy has been dancing since she was 3, with training in Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. A qualified dance teacher since 2018, she loves teaching the next generation of dancers. With a background in musical theatre, she has performed in numerous shows with Lisnagarvey Operatic and Dramatic Society, taking on both principal and dancing roles. Saturdays at Voiceworks are a highlight for Amy, as she gets to help students improve their technique and enjoy learning fun routines!

Sean Harkin
Sean, a drama studies graduate from Queen's University Belfast, has been a singing and drama tutor since 2018 in other Theatre Schools and privately. As a director, he has overseen youth workshops and productions such as 'Aladdin Jr.' and 'Moana Jr.'. A talented performer with multiple A.I.M.S. and N.O.D.A. nominations, Sean will soon star as Emmett Forrest in 'Legally Blonde' at Belfast's Grand Opera House and Robbie Hart in 'The Wedding Singer' in Castleblayney.
Assistant Vocal Tutor
Lisa Hutchinson
Lisa is starting her first year as an Assistant Singing Tutor at Voiceworks. At 18, she studies Business Management at Queen’s University Belfast and holds Grade 8 certifications in Classical Singing, Flute, and Piano, with additional skills in saxophone, guitar, and violin. Passionate about music, Lisa has trained church choirs, accompanied school groups, and taught piano, and she’s excited to share her love for music with students at Voiceworks.
Junior Assistant
Erin Ashe
As a junior assistant at Voiceworks, Erin is passionate about helping young children reach their full potential. She takes singing lessons, studies A-level music, and plays the trumpet, with experience in productions like 'Mary Poppins', 'Annie', and 'Oliver'. Excited to study music and education at university, Erin is committed to supporting and inspiring students while pursuing her dream of becoming a primary school teacher.
